What machines does Akemsan manufacture?
Since 1967 Akemsan has manufactured sawmill machinery in Sakarya, Turkey: remote-controlled and hydraulic log carriages, 1,000 mm and 1,200 mm vertical band saws and tandem systems, hydraulic resaws (markol), multi-rip edgers, single- and double-arbor multi-rip saws (chain-feed and roller-feed), and conveyor and sawmill automation lines.
What is the delivery time?
Average delivery time is 2 weeks to 1 month, depending on the machine and order volume. The exact lead time is stated in the quotation.
What warranty do the machines have?
Mechanical parts carry a 2-year warranty; electronic and hydraulic parts carry a 1-year warranty.
Do you provide installation and plant design?
Yes. We install and commission machines in Turkey and abroad. For complete sawmills and pallet plants we design the plant layout around your log diameter, wood species and daily capacity target.

What payment options are available?

Are the machines CE certified?
Yes, all Akemsan machines are CE certified and delivered with CE marking.
Which countries have you supplied?
Akemsan machines run in sawmills and pallet plants in Turkey and abroad, including Romania, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Lebanon, Algeria, Libya, The Gambia and Guinea.
What is the difference between double-arbor and single-arbor multi-rip saws?
The double-arbor AE.ÇDÇM-250 rips cants up to 250 mm thick in one pass with 2 x 75 kW of drive power. The single-arbor AE.ÇDTM-125 cuts up to 125 mm and is designed for pallet board and lumber production. Double-arbor models suit thick cants and high capacity; single-arbor models suit thinner stock and pallet production.
What is the difference between chain feed and roller feed?
Chain-feed models use special alloy cast track plates that feed the timber without slipping at stepless speed. Roller-feed models use 7 or 9 feed rollers and a hydraulic side pressure roller that holds thick cants against the fence for straight cuts.
Can I see the machines running?
